Death and grief will happen to all of us!
As a counselor/Bible teacher, I’m very sensitive to those who are grieving because of the death of a loved one (family or friend). I’ve experienced my own grief of parents, brother, many friends who have gone to the Lord.
Even when someone dies in the Lord, it is still very painful emotionally because we grieve for the loss of the companionship and love on earth.
I pray we all will become more sensitive to others’ grief. It will happen to us all at some time. It is appointed unto to man once to die – unless the Lord returns in our lifetime.
Just be there in prayer from afar or close – weep and mourn with the grieving. We can do nothing to make others feel better other than our prayer, love and concern.
God’s promise is: “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.” God is the God of all comfort!!!!!
