Are you a ‘two-sided’ person?
What we are in the home (secret life) is what we really are in God’s view!
I know people who have two sides to their character. In the home they allow their selfishness to manifest itself by being controlling, angry and abusive.
In the public (including church) they go around smiling acting gracious and kind to others – even some leaders.
God says we will be accountable to Him for every idle painful word we speak. Nothing escapes God’s attention.
God will reveal everything that takes place in secret. The person with a ‘two-sided’ life will bow his/her knee before God.
I counsel the spouses of these type of people. Stop allowing the abusive person to control you with threats or any type of abuse.
Speak God’s truth and do it in love. If you do not respect yourself, the abuser will continue the abuse. It’s not God’s plan for you to be abused in any way.
Don’t live in fear. Go to a godly leader and share about the abuse. Speak up for yourself – especially if you are in ministry. No man/woman is above accountability to God and others!!!!!
If you are a ‘two-sided’ person, be sure your sins will find you out!
