AFTER CHRISTMAS THOUGHTS!
PROVERBS 26:
23 Smooth words may hide a wicked heart,
just as a pretty glaze covers a clay pot.
24 People may cover their hatred with pleasant words,
but they’re deceiving you.
25 They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them.
Their hearts are full of many evils.
NOTE: I am extremely thankful for the Gift of Salvation that was born over 2,000 years ago. A person may claim a believe in God, but their actions reveal their heart.
We all are born sinners and need salvation. Just believing there is a God does not save us. The demons believe in one God and tremble, but they are not saved!
God paid the price for our sins on the cross. Genuine salvation changes the heart and the Fruit of the Spirit will be manifest.
When people allow bitterness, unforgiveness, anger and jealousy to rule their hearts, they are deceiving themselves if they believe they are a Christian. Hatred is equal to murder in God’s sight. The love of money is the root of all evil.
Christian means to be Christ-like!! Micah 6:8 tells us ‘to do right, love mercy and walk humbly with our God’ – just giving Him all the glory! I pray daily for a clean heart and a right spirit before God.
I refuse to allow the actions of others or circumstances to rob my joy or salvation!!! I choose to be holy as He is Holy. I head into 2016 with hope in God because He is in complete control. This does not mean that everything in life is perfect. It’s about living one day at time trusting God for our future in Him!
The birth of Jesus Christ gives us the hope of His soon return for His Bride – Jesus is coming!!
