Please Join Me in a Prayer for Others.

My heart is heavy with the needs of so many people that I know personally, especially in ministry.

The Bible teaches that we are to carry one another’s burdens. We are to pray for one another. How many of us take the time to daily pray for others? Are we so self-centered, as long as our life is going along good, we do not think about others in need?

Please join me in this prayer today for the faithful men and women of God that are going through all types of adversity: sickness, grief, betrayal, financial difficulties, family problems, etc. Notice I said ‘faithful’ men and women who love the Lord with their whole life and being. Yet, calamity falls on their shoulders and they do not see a ray of hope. If you’ve never been in that position, I pray you take heart for others. Let’s pray:

Dear God in Heaven,

I come to you today with a heavy heart for the needs of your people including my family. You are the great creator of this world and own everything that is in it. You loved us so much that you came in flesh and became the ultimate sacrifice to purchase our eternal freedom through the power of your shed blood. We are so thankful for salvation and the glorious hope of eternal life where we will rule and reign with you forever and ever. In the meantime, we must live here on earth sharing the gospel through our life and sacrificing for ministry to help others be saved and healed spiritually, emotionally and relationally.

We are pleading with you today to have mercy on your faithful people who are in desperate need of your wisdom, guidance and provision. I know pastors who are sacrificing to bring your truth to others and yet they are struggling to pay their bills. I know people who have lost a loved one in death and are in heavy grief because of life changes. There are others who have been betrayed in marriage and their world is falling apart. There are missionaries at home and abroad who feel alone and need your encouragement. Others are survivors of abuse and need the revelation of how valuable they are to You. Lord, flood all of these people with your courage, strength and provision.

Lord, we need your wisdom, comfort, financial blessing, guidance and protection now. Make a way where there seems to be no way. We all desire to say, “God heard my cry and came to my rescue.” Your Word is full of promises to the faithful, not just about heaven, but blessings here on earth. When the answers come, we will give you all the glory and honor. We will share with others the victory report and our resources.

Proverbs 13:12 NLT reads, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” Bless, encourage, comfort and answer the ‘heart sick’ with their desire that will be like a tree of life. We are determined to live for you no matter what happens in life. We love you more than our own life. We thank you now for the answers to this prayer. You told us not to worry about anything, but pray about everything. We need your peace in the midst of our storm. You told us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding and in all our ways acknowledge You and You would direct our path. We believe Your Word.

Give us strength and provision for the path that You have put us on. We are delighting in You and Your Word promised you would give us the desires of our hearts. You told us not to be weary in well doing and we would reap if we did not faint. Thank You! You remember we are made from dust. When you restored Job, it was through his friends and family that brought him silver and gold. Even though he had many questions and deep painful feelings about what happened to him, Your Word says, “for the LORD had accepted Job” – Job 42:9b NKJ. You can work through others to bless the hurting and those in major need.

Help us all to be conduits of Your love toward others. Touch every heart that reads this prayer. If the reader has no need, make them more compassionate. If the reader has a major need, guide, provide and comfort them in Jesus name. You are touched by the feelings of our infirmities (trials). You know our hearts and every detail of our lives. We give You glory, honor and praise now for the answers to all these needs.

Thank you for this song: “I need Thee, O I need Thee; every hour I need Thee! O bless me now, my Saviour. I come to Thee.” Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers that we have asked in your precious name, Jesus, with thanksgiving. We bind Satan and his adversity against us in Jesus name! We loose Your blessings upon all of us who love You and need You to answer our prayers in Jesus name! We want Your perfect will in our lives. We believe in Your Word!

Let everyone say, “AMEN!”
