MOTHER’S DAY THOUGHTS
Proverbs 11:16
A gracious woman retains honor!
Define: God’s gracious intervention: merciful, compassionate, kind; forgiving, lenient, clement, forbearing, humane, tenderhearted, sympathetic; indulgent, generous, magnanimous, benign, benevolent.
NOTE: As a woman of God filled with His Spirit, we must allow God’s character to manifest itself in our lives. I pray my presence in the lives of others will touch hearts because of my mercy, compassion, kindness, forgiving attitude, tenderness, sympathy, generosity and giving unconditional love.
Mother’s Day can be joyful for some and very sad for others. I’m thankful for a Holy Ghost filled mother who was a woman of prayer. God allowed her to live to her 93rd year of life. She loved God and sacrificed herself for her family’s well-being.
Be sensitive to others who had mother’s that were emotionally unhealthy and left deep wounds on the soul of their children.
Be sensitive to women who had deep desires to be mothers and it did not happen for them.
ALL WOMEN have the power of influence. No matter your status in life, remember your ‘mothering instincts’ can be a blessing to many around you. Love others with God’s love!
God created each of us for His purpose to reflect His glory on earth. Do all we do heartily as unto the Lord. We all have great value because we are created in God’s image and likeness!
