The most precious gift we can give to those around us is a consistent kind, loving tongue! Death and life is in the power of the tongue! We will reap what we sow with our tongue.
Our tongue reveals our heart. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If angry words pop out of our mouth, it reveals anger in the heart. Many times anger is based on selfishness. Another person says or does something and selfishness in the heart creates angry words.
No one can make us angry – WE CHOOSE to become angry. If we claim to have the Holy Ghost, we are to allow God to be in control with our choice of self-control.
WE ALL WILL ANSWER TO GOD!
Proverbs 139: 23-24, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts. And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
This is allowing God to do exploratory surgery of the spiritual heart!!
